It’s an immersive, honest set that sticks with you long after the last note, and the perfect way to kick off the weekend on the Midland Main Stage.

The Dirty Strings is a Jamgrass band that blends multiple genres including bluegrass, rock and roll, jazz, and reggae. This string band loves to pick classic tunes in the style of bluegrass, but it isn’t afraid to wander into the realms of jam and psychedelia. With their “Pickin’ on Vinyl Classics” sound, expect familiar songs reimagined on banjo, fiddle, and mandolin. They’re a Big Iron favorite, returning to hold down the prime Friday evening slot.

Naughty Nurse is a professional variety cover band out of Springfield, Missouri, and it’s built for one thing: keeping the crowd on its feet. Their pop rock set is packed with sing-along hits and dance-floor favorites spanning decades, delivered with plenty of attitude and a whole lot of fun. Whether you know every word or just want to move, Naughty Nurse is the high-energy prescription for closing out Friday night at Big Iron.

Midnight Faceplant is a Kansas City-based rock tribute band playing the best Pop Punk, Alternative, Emo, and Hard Rock from the ’90s and early 2000s. If you grew up with a burned CD in your truck and a skate deck in the garage, this set is for you. Expect loud guitars, big choruses, and every anthem you forgot you knew by heart. It’s the perfect jolt of nostalgia to get Saturday afternoon rolling at camp.
ADAM JOHNSTON BAND

The Adam Johnston Band is an eclectic blend of professional musicians out of Springfield, Missouri. The full band is known for covering a wide range of genres, including Funk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and even Bluegrass. Adam’s guitar playing is heavily influenced by the iconic bands of the ’60s, and he has been fronting his own projects and several others for 20 years. They’re back on the Big Iron stage with a groove-heavy Saturday afternoon set.

Ben Miller is the frontman of the Ben Miller Band, the internationally touring roots outfit born in the Ozarks and famous for its stomping, one-of-a-kind sound built on homemade and unconventional instruments. For Big Iron, Ben is bringing a few friends along for a raw, foot-stomping mix of blues, bluegrass, and backwoods rock and roll. Expect gritty vocals, plenty of surprises, and the kind of front-porch energy that fits right in at camp.
DAKOTA PAGAN & THE BIG IRON ALL-STARS

Dakota Pagan is a versatile vocalist and songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri, with new music out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and Tidal. A familiar face at Big Iron, Dakota returns to headline Saturday night, leading a hand-picked crew of Big Iron All-Stars. Expect big vocals, a packed setlist, and a few surprise guests. It’s the rally’s biggest party of the weekend, so grab a spot early and stay late.
