GENERAL CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES

We’ve established the following general campground guidelines to help insure your safety and your enjoyment, while in our park and the same to our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our event without any form of refund.

SPEED LIMIT

4 mph. Please observe our speed limit to insure the safety of all our guests. Remember…children are playing!

QUIET TIME

11:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

SITE OCCUPANCY

Only one (1) RV or vehicle is allowed per campsite.

CHILDREN

Guests are responsible for all behavior of children. All children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

SAFETY AFTER DARK

In order to ensure safety after dark, please carry a flashlight. No bike or scooter riding after dark. Brutus will be locked and monitored to avoid damage to equipment or personal injury.

TRASH

Please place all garbage in designated dumpsters located around the park.

CAMPFIRES

Campfires are NOT permitted at Big Brutus unless in a pre-approved minimal impact device such as a pop-up pit or propane fire pit.

PORTABLE GRILLS

Wood, charcoal, and gas grills are allowed. Please dispose of ash and spent coal responsibly.

CLOTHESLINES

Not permitted.

FIREWORKS

Prohibited on park property.

PETS

Keep on leashes (six-foot maximum length) or inside and do not leave unattended. No excessive barking allowed. Pets must be walked by a responsible person to pick up after them immediately. Pets are not allowed in or near any buildings, bathrooms, or playground areas. Maximum of 3 Pets allowed.

SWIMMING / BOATING / FISHING / WATER ACTIVITIES

Per the KS Fish and Wildlife Department, swimming is not allowed in the strip pits. Kayaks and canoes are allowed. Fishing is allowed with a KS fishing license.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES

No motor-driven golf carts are to be driven in the park.

VIOLATION OF THESE GUIDELINES

Grounds for ejection from the event without refund

MESSAGES

If you are expecting messages, please check at central office. Emergency messages will be attempted to be delivered to your site or announced at the main stage.

FORMS OF PAYMENTS

We accept all Major Credit Cards, cash or money orders. Sorry, no checks.

VEHICLE BASED CAMPING

Vehicle based camping is available onsite. Vehicles will enter at the South Gate. Check in at the main office, you will be receive a windshield tag at check in allowing you to come and go as you please throughout the day. Each vehicle camp space measures approximately 30’ X 30’.

WALK IN – TENT CAMPING

Walk in tent only camping is first come first served, the spaces are not size restricted. Upon check in at the front office, you will receive a pass to enter with your camp equipment. Tent camping is walk in only and is located at the North East corner of the property past the vendor area.

CANCELLATIONS

Campsites: All sales are final, but are transferrable

Tickets: All sales are final, but are transferrable

OTHER CAMPSITE GUIDELINES

Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer.

Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Check-In 9/27 at 9 a.m. (CST) | Check-Out 9/29 at 4 p.m. (CST)

Camping prior to check in can be arranged with Big Brutus however we will not allow attendees into South Field until designated check in time.

Check-Out: means your campsite must be vacated by 4 p.m (CST) 10/1. We ask that you honor our Check-Out time promptly to minimize hardship on our clean up staff.
